Training energy and focus: your starting guide

HOLLOW LABS / YOUR STARTING GUIDE

SHOW UP WITH A PLAN.

Prepare for the session, understand your caffeine and choose a formula that fits your routine.

You picked training energy and focus. Start before the scoop. Decide what the session is for, make time to eat and drink, and look at when you are training relative to bedtime. Then decide whether a pre-workout belongs in the routine.

01Remove a few decisions before training.

Write down your main movements or the purpose of the session before you arrive. Pack the equipment you need. Start with a familiar warm-up and keep your phone out of the way during the work that needs your attention.

Try one repeatable cue this week: a written training plan, a short warm-up sequence or putting the phone on do-not-disturb. Pick something useful enough to keep doing on an ordinary day.

02Check the basics behind a flat session.

Look at sleep, recent meals, fluids and the training you have already done. A pre-workout may change how alert you feel, but it cannot replace those inputs.

Plan a familiar meal or snack that fits comfortably before training. If you repeatedly feel unusually fatigued despite adequate rest and food, get that assessed instead of simply increasing stimulants.

03Make the caffeine decision deliberately.

List the caffeine-containing drinks and supplements in your day. Check both the amount and the time you take them. People differ in sensitivity, and caffeine can disrupt sleep even when you do not feel especially wired.

If you choose Berserker Focus, follow its warning not to combine it with other caffeine or stimulant products. Start with the labeled smaller serving for new users and avoid it close to bedtime.

If you are avoiding added caffeine, Serum offers a different type of pre-training formula. It still contains active ingredients and deserves the same careful label review.

04Give each part of the pair a clear job.

The recommended pair is Berserker Focus plus Berserker Serum, a pairing also described on Serum’s product page. Focus brings the caffeinated focus formula. Serum adds glycerol and citrulline without adding caffeine.

No added caffeine does not mean no overlapping ingredients. These formulas share focus actives, including huperzine A. Review the combined labels and individual suitability with a qualified professional before combining them; this guide does not prescribe taking both maximum servings together.

Introduce products individually before considering the pair. Record the measured servings, training time, how the session felt and how you slept. Follow Focus’s warning against other caffeine or stimulant products, and measure Serum in liquid capfuls, not capsules.

WHERE SUPPLEMENTS FIT

Your two-product routine.

Caffeinated nootropic formula Berserker Focus plus Berserker Serum’s pump formula without caffeine. These can be taken together or by themselves, depending on your goal for that day.
THE CAFFEINATED PART OF YOUR PAIR

Berserker Focus

Consider Focus if caffeine fits your training time and tolerance and you want a formula built around mental engagement during a workout.

Caffeinated pre-workout · Read half/full-scoop columns

How to use it
The label directs new users to start with ½ scoop in 8–10 oz of water, about 15 minutes before training. A full scoop is for experienced users. Do not combine with other caffeine or stimulant products.

What to check
The full scoop lists 200mg caffeine anhydrous plus 100mg Infinergy ingredient weight. That is not 300mg pure caffeine. Avoid close to bedtime; review the full warnings and ingredient overlap.

THE PUMP FORMULA WITHOUT ADDED CAFFEINE

Berserker Serum

The liquid pump formula alongside Focus. Serum brings glycerol and citrulline without caffeine. Use it with Focus or on its own, depending on the day’s goal.

Liquid pump + focus formula · No added caffeine

How to use it
Start with 1 measured capful, following the bottle. The serving range is 1–2 capfuls, or 20–40mL. These are liquid capfuls, not capsules. Drink adequate water and stay within the label directions.

What to check
Contains vinpocetine: do not use during pregnancy or if you could become pregnant. Avoid duplicating huperzine A or other focus ingredients. Review use with a clinician if you take medication or have a medical condition.
